There are two methods of crack repairs Polyurethane and Epoxy filling. The epoxy adhesive system properties are meant to restore the damaged or missing foundation. This highly adhesive property prevents the movements of the foundation due to weather seasons and temperature changes. Epoxy is so durable and strong method that it outlasts the concrete itself. The chemical properties tie in with the concrete to prevent any leaks and water penetration. The epoxy takes hours to harden and bond with the foundation. This allows the substance to travel to the smallest crevices and bond with the concrete to become a solid state. This method is highly effective due to withstanding high force of water penetration.

The polyurethane foam its designed for filling the cracks because structure is elastic in nature, but it is not meant to repair the foundation. When there is a slight movement of the foundation the foam like substance prevents the water from breaking in and forcing the water penetration. Polyurethane expands in the cracks and is resistant to movement that's why it is so effective. Due to its liquid.
